CAQAO - Classes for the Application of Quantum Algorithms and Optimization

Quantum computers are expected to provide an application-relevant quantum advantage in a few years’ time. In order to be able to turn this into a competitive advantage in Germany, the programming and development of solutions on quantum computers requires knowledge across the breadth of industry. The CAQAO learning platform closes this gap by providing a low-threshold introduction to the use of market-leading quantum computers. This enables companies to implement their use cases immediately and effectively benefit from a quantum advantage.

 

The online learning platform CAQAO is being developed at the QAR-Lab of LMU Munich in cooperation with the partners adidas, BMW, DB Systel, kiutra, Merck, Munich Re and Volkswagen. CAQAO meets the increasing demand from German industry for practical training and further education in the field of application-oriented quantum computing. The unique cooperation with industry, the orientation towards real use cases and finally the use of existing quantum computers guarantee practical relevance.

 
CAQAO is a modular online learning platform that teaches the skills needed to independently solve practical problems from various application areas. After a basic section tailored to the user’s prior knowledge, there is the option of rapid specialization for a wide range of hardware and individual problems.
